Restaurant In City Investigation

A lot of villagers in the City have been talking about wanting a restaurant or complaining why there isn't a restaurant in the City.

Rumor: Later in the game, a restaurant will open in the City.

~One villager in the city actually said they would want to open a restaurant.

Kicks' (Shoe Shiner's) House Investigation

Are your shoes dirty? Just head on down to the city and if it's a clear day, Kicks, the shoe shiner will be sitting on the steps of a mysterious, boarded up building.

Rumor: The boarded up building behind Kicks is his house!
Status: In progress

Evidence/Proof:
~Villagers in the city have been talking about the building behind Kicks.

~People have talked to the villagers in the city which have said that it is Kicks' house.

Butch talks about hanging out at Kicks' place. (This is in the same conversation, brandon96 just needed to talk to Butch twice to get both pictures.)

Shampoodle's Rumors Investigation

Don't like your new hairdo? Just head on over to Shampoodle's where the pretty, pink poodle, Harriet will give you a new do just how you like it!

Rumor: Harriet comes outside her shop and cleans her windows before Shampoodle's opens. Also, another different person (possibly an elderly man) comes out and waters flowers.
Status: In progress.

Evidence/Proof:
~There have been some reports that people have seen her cleaning her windows.

~Others have seen another person out watering the flowers in the city very early in the morning.

~A source from the Animal Crossing Community forums have said that there is a bear that works for Harriet named Tallard.

Cons To This Rumor:
~People have said that there is nobody in the city before 8:00 a.m.

Marquee Secret Room Investigation

The Marquee is in the City where Dr. Shrunk and Frillard perform their emotions. After it closes, there has been a light to go on in the secret room above the theater.

Rumor: Secret Room Above the Marquee
Status: In progress.

Evidence/Proof:
~Late at night, (around 11:00 pm when the Marquee closes) lights above the Marquee go on. Could this be the secret room?

~Villagers in the city are talking about this secret room and calling it a waiting room for the performers. (Dr. Shrunk and Frillard.)

~In Resetti's hideout you can hear the Marquee (Dr. Shrunk performing) it MIGHT just be his TV though..?

~Footprints on the floor of the Marquee and Resetti's hideout are similar.

~If anyone has gone into Resetti's hideout, they might have seen things behind the chairs that some say are tunnels. Could these tunnels lead up to the marquee or the secret room?

But in the picture below that is how close you are able to get to the ropes next to the wall.


When the Marquee opens, the ropes next to the wall are still there.

Information about each job:

Leader: In charge of the whole bureau. Makes sure everything is in order and can promote people.

Co-Leader: Is in charge of everything if the leader isn't there. Chosen by brandon96.

Main Investigator: Gives the investigators cases and can assign cases to himself. Chosen by brandon96.

Investigator: Tries to find evidence that a certain rumor is true or not.

Website designer: Is in charge of making the website.

Website coordinator: Is in charge of keeping the website in order. Like an admin.

Journalist: When a case is over the investigators put all the information on the AC:CF Investigation Bureau PT. From there the journalists will write an article on the case and we will put it on the website for people to see.
